Meenorah was founded in Ålesund in 2025. We exist to build intelligent software and meaningful content that help people and businesses work better, think clearer, and grow. We believe that the best technology is not only capable — it is trusted, private, and genuinely useful. At Meenorah, we believe every person and every enterprise carries a unique spark—a light they are meant to shine. Our mission is to be the structure that helps that light shine brightest. Like the lampstand we are named for, our purpose is to support and elevate. We are an exploration, started with a clear passion for building intelligent software solutions and creating meaningful content. We are not just a company; we are a process of discovery, learning in public as we go. We are here to build the tools and the platforms that help you stand tall.
The Heart of Our Name
The inspiration for the name of our company comes from one of the oldest symbols of enlightenment: the menorah.
For thousands of years, the Menorah has been the structure that holds the flame—a lampstand designed not to be seen for itself, but to lift the light high so it can illuminate the room.
When we founded our company, we desired to be that structure for others. We build the software and the tools that support people in their growth. But we realized that the most important part of the lamp is not the metal that holds it, but the spark it holds.
MEE is for the individual. It is for Me—the person, the founder, the human being seeking to fulfill their purpose.
NORAH is the ancient root word for Light.
Meenorah is the fusion of these two.
It is the belief that each individual is special and deserves to become the light they were created to be. We desire to provide the stage, the products, the software, and the supports that encourages "MEE" to become "NORAH."

David Fink - Founder
David founded Meenorah in 2021 with a clear conviction: that AI could be built differently — with people, not just efficiency, at the centre. Before Meenorah, he spent 15 years building Luminell, a Norwegian LED technology company for the maritime industry, which was acquired by Glamox in 2021. At Meenorah, David leads the overall vision and direction — including Arvid and the Sollees pilot.
Lars Ludvigsen — Co-Founder & Technology Director
Lars leads Meenorah's technical architecture and development. He brings deep experience in software platforms, AI system design, and the discipline of building systems that hold up in production. His guiding principle: if it doesn't earn trust, it doesn't ship.
Heidi Fink — Content & Project Lead
Heidi leads content strategy and project coordination across Meenorah and Sollees. She shapes how Meenorah communicates — across the website, social media, publications, and partnerships — and ensures that the storytelling stays honest, clear, and connected to what is actually being built.
